Our Services
The Christian Safeguarding Centre exists to walk alongside churches helping them set up safeguarding programmes. We also support churches through safeguarding training, equipping them to build safer churches. As a charity we try to offer our services at no cost, as far as possible, so that there is no barrier to accessing services. We also seek to provide services in the main languages of Hong Kong – English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Safeguarding Reviews
Ministry work can be busy, and safeguarding may sometimes be unintentionally overlooked. This service provides an independent perspective to help churches and frontline workers maintain effective safeguarding practices.
We review policies and day-to-day operational procedures, identifying gaps and offering practical guidance to strengthen safeguarding measures. Regular reviews or audit ensure that safeguarding remains a core part of ministry, supporting planning, implementation and ongoing improvement.
Safeguarding Policy Development
Clear policies provide the foundation for safe ministry. This service supports churches and organisations in creating safeguarding policies and procedures that are practical, comprehensive and aligned with current guidance.
We work with leadership teams to develop policies covering roles, responsibilities and reporting procedures, ensuring they are easy to implement and support a culture of accountability. Whether reviewing existing policies or creating new ones, we provide tailored advice to embed safeguarding effectively throughout your organisation.
Consultancy Service
This service gives churches and organisations practical support when dealing with specific safeguarding concerns, complex situations or longer term projects. We offer guidance on how to respond appropriately, make informed decisions, and ensure actions follow legal requirements and best practice.
We work alongside leaders and frontline workers, helping them feel confident in handling cases while keeping the safety and wellbeing of everyone involved at the heart of their decisions,

We can provide safeguarding consultancy for specific, ad-hoc or ongoing issues or projects or all sizes. We generally try to provide our services for free but for extensive or large-scale project work, we may need to discuss a fee-based arrangement.
